A couple more Highland Cattle from Gripping Beast. 28mm metal miniatures. I posted these on Facebook a while back but I don't seem to have put them on here. I used some slightly different washes & colours on these compared to the first two I completed, and a different way of painting the horns - seems OK.

DeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteVery kind of you Rodger.
DeleteMoovalous work (sorry)! I'd be interested to know what the mix of colours and washes was, because it's really brought out the red colour of the fur (which is spot on).
ReplyDeleteHahaha puntastic! I wish I knew Alan, I just kept trying different things until I achieved a look I was happy with. I do use a lot of Secret Weapon washes normally, but also have a selection of Daler Rowney acrylic inks too.
DeleteLooking great - love these types of bases as they add some fun interest to game tables, even if they don't effect the games directly.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dai, yep interest, colour & even plunder for certain scenarios :-)
